Accordingly, a clinic was ar- ranged and held on Saturday, July 5, at the Alexandra Marine General Hospital, Goderich, and Dr. Robert- son, Chief Surgeon of the Children's Hospital,, Toronto. took charge of the examinations; he is an eminent ortho- pedic surgeon as well es skilled as a clinician. Over thirty patients at- tended the clinic and the parents of these and also their family physicians will receive notice of the condition of the, patient and the suggested remedy, either surgical or -medicinal the case may require.urre The Huron Medi- cal di - cal Association showed their interest in this work by cooperating with Dr, Robertson in the clinic and were pre- sent to the number of 25. Tile Lions of Goderich and Seaforth and the members of the Heron 'Medical As- sociation were present at a luncheon at the Bedford- Muriel where address- es were given by Chief McKay. Chairman Parsons, Lion Croft, Ma- yor McEwen, Mr. Hopper of the On- tario Society, and others. The Clinic was entirely free to pa- tients or parents whose means are limited and the surgical staff of the Children's Hospital, Toronto, is co- operating with the Lions Clubs to make the service as useful -as possible to the profession throughout the whole of Huron county. The Sea - forth Lions have arranged to take care of the cases in the Eastern half of Huron, whose parents are not in a position to meet the necessary cost. In order to take care of this crippl- ed children work the Seaforth Lions witi require to raise funds and hope to receive the support of all citizens to make the Carnival. which will be staged on August 21st, a great suc- cess.
