the funeral on Tuesday of Mr. Kneeh-
tel's sister, Mrs. Perrie, of Wingham,
wife of Dr, Perrie, the moderator of
the Presbyterian Church'in Canada.
Mrs. Perrie's death occurred on Fri-
day, following an operation, Dr. Per-
rie who has been attending a confer -
once in Scotland, received wool- of his
wife's illness, arrived for the funeral.

Mrs. Os'c'ar Reid of Detroit, who
has been visiting Mr. J. H, Reid the
past week, returned on Wednesday.

meeting was held in Seaforth in the

son and Mrs,. C. Clifton, was very in-
teresting and instructive. Instead of
convener's reports, resolutions and
notices of motion "that will come be-
fore the annual convention in Toronto
in December were discussed. The top-
ic for next meeting will be "What
Canada demands of .her women"; this
meeting will be held at the:home of
-firs. Haugh on Nov. 20. The meeting
closed with ,the national anthem, after
which the hostess assisted by Miss
Murray, served an excellent lunch.

along with a large 'bale of clothing to
Northern Ontario.
