A trio by ,Mesdames Sproat and Hen-
derson and Miss J. Ivison land a
solo by Miss M. Scarlett were much
appreciated.
On Monday evening "Ye Olde
Tyme Village Quartette," assisted by
Tom Hlatnilton, humorist, gave a most
excellent programme to a large and
appreciative audience, The Quartette
sang Old Ty'nie music with excellent
rhythm and harmony. St is a delight-
ful gtiante'rte with asopranno of ex,
cep'tiontal• range and clarity of voice,
a strong. and surprisingly sweet bari-
tone, :a chartning contralto and a very.
e pleasant tenor. This •quartette made
the Olde Tyme music dive again and

ture reading, which was very well ex-
plained by Mr. George Knights, was
