:Mr. and Mrs. George Eaton enter-
tained the "Glee Club” meitibers last
Tuesday evening. Several hours were
spent in progressive euchre. The
ladle's' first prize, an aluminum dou-
ble boiler, went to Mrs., John Mont-
gomery, and ladies' consolation went
to Mrs. Sol... Shannon,. The men's
first, an aluminum coffee percolator,
went to Air. Fergus Bullard, and con-
sol'a'tion to Mr. Janes Simpson. A
dainty lunch was served by the host-
ess. The next meeting will be held at
the home of Mr. and - Mrs. Theron
Beetles, ono November 20th.

We are sorry to report that Mr. Jo-
seph Kale was badly injured when he
stepped from a car going home from
Dublin Friday night before the car
was quite stopped. He missed his
footing and fell to the pavement and
was rendered unconscious for some
time, also got a nasty cut of the back
of his head. We are pleased to know
he is improving at last report today.

improving. The ear was damaged
badly. People- should keep cattle off
the highway as they endanger lives.

urday in Stratford,

to bed but is improving and we hope
she wilt soon be better.
