The Late Dr, Ross. -A native. of B,rticefield passed away at the home of his son in Bosston, Mass., last week, in the person of Dr. Hugh Ross for many years a physician in Clifford, Out.. Dr. Ross was born 82 >-ears ago, the son of the late Neil Ross, of Brucefield, and he spent his boyhood here, Dr. Ross spent .a number of years in the teaching profession before taking up the study of medicine. About a year ago he gave up his practice in Clifford and went to live in Boston, Mass. A week before his death he suffered a stroke, from the effects of which he never rallied. His wife predeceased hint. One son and two daughters survive; also ane sis- ter, Mrs. (Dr.) McDonald, of Lon- don, who is the last surviving member of a large family. Dr. Ross was a brother-in-law to Mrs, Alex. Ross, of Brucetfield. The 'body was brought to Clifford and the funeral held on Mon- day, interment being in Clifford ceme- tery beside his wife. Mrs. Janet Ross and Mr. Hugh Gil- mour attended the funeral of the late Dr. Ross in Clifford on Monday, Mr, J. McCully and son, of Ohio. are visiting at the home of the form- er's aunt, :bliss M. J.
