Catherine Webster, after a lingering
illness of over three years. 'Miss
Webster was born at ILucknow 70
years ago, the daughter of the late
James Webster, Her smother dish
when she was but 4 years .old. About
40 years ago she came to live with her
aunt, A. W. tBeacom's mother, who
died in '1910. She resided in .Clinton
until some three years ago when her
health failed. She is survived by Two
brothers and three sisters, Tames at
Lucknow, 'Robert of 1Stanley, and
Mrs. George .Coleman, of Stanley,
Mrs. Tons. Blake and Mrs. William
Ritchie of Ashfield, 'Interment was
on 'Friday, Sept. 28, to 'Clinton ceme-
tery. Rev, Mr. Doan, of Ontario St.
United Church, of which she was a
member, officiated, aissisted by Rev.
James Abery, of ,Lon*deshoro. The
pallbearers were John Sheppard, W.
U. Hellyar and George 'Oantelou, of

sent, but those present showed a good
sense of rhythm, good interpretation
