the 17th floor of the King Edward
Hotel. A sumptuous feast was par-

Distowel on Monday to spend New

Mrs, George Dale and Mrs. John
Ferguson spent the week -end in Sea -
forth ,,with their sister, Mrs, Mac,
McKellar. '
'The annual meeting of the Ladies'
Aid was held last Wednesday in the
basement of the church. The report
of the Treasurer was read, showing
a successful year financially. The
ladies voted $75.00 towards the min-
ister's salary. The following officers
were elected:
Pres,, Mrs, Peter Lindsay.
Vice President, Mrs, R. Rogerson,
Secretary, Mrs 3. 'Riley,
Treasurer, Mrs. B. Stephens -on,
Organist, Miss Violet Rogerson.
The meeting closed with the bene-
diction, after which lunch was served.
Miss Dale, of Toronto, spent New
Year's with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. James Dale,
Miss Blanche Wheatley and Mr.
Clifford Britton returned to 'Toron-
to this week to their respective duties.
