Devonshire England, and came to
this country in 1851, being a con-
stant resident of the townsuip

Mr. Manning was twice married,

1875 he married 1Viiss Bella. Munro,
who died in 1013. Two sons, by his
first marriage, survive, John
Manning of ,London, Ont„ and
Charles of Hullett, at Whose , home
he died. Two ' brothers; William
Manning of Pilot Mound, Mae., and
John Manning of Auburn, and two
sisters; Mrs. Coventry of Wingha)hi
and Mrs,, Bell of Londeshoro, also
survive,
Mr. Manning was a member of the
Canadian Order of Foresters at
Londeshoro, and in religion he was
a Presbyterian, being a unember of
Knox church, Londeshoro,
