Consolation prize was won by Mr, and Mrs, Kronen, Au address and presentation of a purse of money, was made by Leona Krauskopf, Mrs. Feeney gracious- ly responded thanking all present for their thoughtfnlnuess and kindness. She was also tete recip- ient of a gift of a linen tablecloth from her bridge club. Lunch was served by Mrs.. Krauskopf and the neighbors. On Thursday, Feb, 22 Mrs. Feeney was presented with an electric floor polisher from the McKillop, Hibbert, Logan Tele- phone Company, Mrs, Feeney had been an operator at the telephone exchange for the past ten years. The operators presented her with a casserole dish. Mrs. Feeney moved to Dublin 18 years ago from Hibbert twp, She has a son, William, of Kit- chener, three daughters, Mrs. Prank Maloney, Mrs. Cyril Mur- ray and Catherine at Kitchener. Leonard of St. lYlarys and Ken- neth of /lesson. A very srteeessful progressive endue party was: hold at St. Patrick's Parish hall on Pride/ evening, Feb, 23 at 0 o'clock .sponsored by the ladies of the GVL 30 tables were in pleY. A lunch was served by the ladies in charge. Mr, and Mrs. Dale Anderson and daughter have left for out- look, Sask., where Mr. Anderson has secured a position with the Johnston Keiwit Poole Construc- tion Company on the South Sask. Dant. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were presented with a china tea set at the bowling club dance held at Brodhagen recently. Codas and Mrs, Theresa Eckert, and Mrs. Toni Cairns and children, London, with Mr. and Mrs, Nicholas Krapskopf. A miscellaneous shower was held recently at the home of Mits. Adrian Menheere in hpnor of her daughter Frances, whose Marriage takes ,place on March Srd, A social hour was spent in bingo and other games. An ad- dress of godd wishes was read by Mrs. Jack O'Reilly and Mrs, Joseph O'Reilly assisted in open- ing many gifts of silver, china, linen and kitchenware. Hymn" was answered by 10 members, The secretary read the minutes of the last meet- ing followed by the treasurer's report. During the business part of the meeting, our supper dish recipes were handed in for the 100th anniversary. It was decided -to bring pie recipes for the next meeting. Mrs. Mervin Dow had the Study Book "The Church at work in British Guiana" assisted by Mrs. John Templeman and Mrs. Robert Laing. The collectipn. was taken. Mrs. Jim Miller had the topic and read "If you ask me there are no Rides in Life" by. Padre Young; She concluded with "A Cowboy's Prayer". Mrs. Gor- don Laing rendered a lovely piano solo for the special number on the program. The meeting closed with the singing of hymn 690 fol- lowed by the Lord's Prayer.
