Mr, Bob Jones, third year stu-
dent at Waterloo College, con-
ducted the church service on
Sunday.
Miss Olive Speare presided for
the meeting of the WMS at the
home of Mrs, T. Laing, 12 mem-
bers answered the roll call, Mrs,
T. L. Scott gave a report on the
annual meeting of Stratford Pres-
byterial which was held in Strat-
ford. The topic was given by Mrs,
Sadie Scott. Each member gavet
current events. Offering was re-
ceived and Mrs. T. Laing gave
the dedicatory prayer. Mrs. K.
McKellar reviewed the first study
lesson dealing with the_ Down
Town Church. Meeting closed
with prayer by Miss Speare.
Lunch was served by the hostess
and the committee in charge.
The Marian Ritchie Evening
Auxiliary held their meeting in
the form of a qulting at the home
of Mrs. Gordon Hoggarth with
a hymn and prayer. Mrs. John
Miller read the scripture lesson
from the 24th Psalm. The roll
call, a suggestion for improving
our meeting, was answered by
9 members, The secretary and
treasurer gave their reports. Dur-
ing the business period, quilts
were discussed and it 'was decid-
ed to put out a cook book for the
100th anniversary of our church.
Mrs, Geraldine Carey had the
topic and read a message from
the World Council of Churches
meeting in New Delhi. She con-
cluded with a poem "When I
have Time". The meeting closed
with the Lord's Prayer,

Township of McKillop
A1I car owners in the Township of McKillop are requested
not to park their cars on the roads of the Township during
the winter months.
Cars that are left on the roads are contrary to the Highway
Traffic Act, and are a detriment to operation of snow plows.
Please note that Provincial Police will take the necessary
action to 000 that cars are not left on roads, and prosecutions
may follow.

from Toronto to build the school.
It was later decided to instruct
the architect to heat the building

Mrs. L. Ariano being absent, her

son. Mrs. F. Boughen gave her
report about the changeover of
children's groups from their for-
mer status to the new -MOM. re-
sponsibility, Mrs. Henderson's re-
port covered the topic given by
the guest speaker "What is your
view of the World",
Mrs, Scott requested that extra
ladies be appointed to help the
Visiting Committee, and Mrs.
Brady suggested that all the la-
dies try to make a few Visits to
sick people or shut-ins and re-
port during the year.
Discussion followed regarding
the division for the new group
into units, A notion was passed
that the Provisional Committee
moot and definitely decide on
formation of units for afternoon
and evening groups, as well as
regional divisions.
The business meeting was then
closed with a Benediction. The
ladies then formed a circle with
their chairs, and a tasty lunch
was served by an appointed

was held on Friday evening last.

devotional service and the busi-
ness session, Mr. Sherlock Keyes
gave the report of the session,
stating there are 59 families, dur-

cate, total membership 147.
