and commercial facilities are available, training for unem-

ation, but we think we could
have been more generous. We be-
lieve Canada should give freely
help in food to needy peoples of
other lands. Some think that as
a nation Canada as a whole
should give one per cent of Can-
ada's national product. One young
man figured. it was going to' am-
ount to a lot of money for him.

of money. Others think many in
Canada are worthy of help and
should be provided for first.

(The Tuckersmith Ladies Club
held their Jan, meeting at the
hone of Mrs. B. Pepper with
nine members and one visitor
present. The secretary's report
was read by Mrs, Norris Sillery
and the treasurer's report read
by Mrs. Stanley Johns. The roll`
call was answered by, what kind
'of party to have for coming year.
It was decided to donate $10,00
to the March of Dimes. The mys-
tery prize was won by Mrs. Mc -
Ewing. It was decided that each
of the group have a card party
in their home. The ladies put in
the afternoon quilting, and a
lovely lunch was served by group
4, Some of the ladies stayed and
quilted till their husbands ar-
rived and then enjoyed a 'card
party.

vise such power subject to
approval of the Municipal Boa

of the County of Huron enacts
follows:
1 (a) No person shall erect any
building or structure, any part
of which is located closer to
the nearest limit of any of the
County roads or parts of the
County roads, hereinafter de-
fined than;
25 feet where the road is 100
feet wide;
42 feet where the road is 66
feet wide;
and in no case closer to the
centre line of the original road
allowance than 75 feet.
1 (b). Provided that in the case
of two elating buildings either
or both of- which is, or are, lo-
cated closer to the nearest lim-
it of any County road herein-
after defined than is permitted
in 1 (a) of this by-law, which
are less than 300 feet apart
measured parallel to the cen-
tre line of road, the provisions
of this paragraph shall apply
to the extent that no ,person
shall erect any building or
structure between the aforesaid
existing structures closer to
the centre line of the road than
the line joining the closest
point to the centre line of the
road of the one structure, to

or Occupant of any land re-
gitiring him to remove or alter
any building or structure er-
ected after the passing of this
by-law that does not comply
with Sections 1 and 2 and each
notice under this section shall
be in writing and sent by regis-
tered mail, addressed to the
Owner or Occupant of the land,
5, If the person to whom the no-
tice is given, under Section 4
above, fails to comply with it
within 30 days from mailing of
such notice, the Corporation of
the County of Huron may dir-
ect any officer, employee or
agent of the said Corporation
to enter upon the land and do
or cause to bo done, whatever
may be necessary to remove or
alter such building or structure
