ON APPROVAL BRODHAGEN The annual meeting of St. Pet- er's Lutheran congregation was held last Thursday evening with a very good attendance. Pastor Brill was the chairman. Three new members were elected to the Church Board: Irvin Miller, Robert Beuerman, Leonard Rose along with Rudolph Bauer, Har- old Wardell, John Henderson and Roy Siemon. During the past year there were 12 baptisms and five funer. als. The organ which was parch. ased 1903 was completely re- built and now has an electrified console costing over $4,000.00, Miss Audrey Priestap of Mitchell was re-engaged as organist and Mr. Rueben Buuck as caretaker. The retiring church board mem- hers are August Leonhardt, Ross Leonbardt and Wilbur Hoegy. The installation of new board members took place during the Sunday service. The annual meating of Brod- hagen School was held recently. Mr. Ross Leonhardt was elected to the school board to take the place of Harvey Ahrens. The Stewards of the Christian Home (married couples) held their meeting in the church base- ment with Pastor Brill in charge of devotions and topic which was Handel's Messiah, Ralph Fischer the president, was in charge of business and Mrs. Harold Ellig• sen read the minutes of the last meeting. The secretary reported that the hard asphalt surface had been laid in the church shed and that it is now flooded ready for. ice skating.
