Library Meeting --
The annual meeting of Walton
library was held at the library
on Tuesday afternoon, Nov, 28,
Meeting opened With a few re-
marks by the chairman, Walter
Shortreed. Minutes of last meet-
ing were read by the secretary,
Miss Ethel Dennis, also the trea-
surer's report. Discussion regard-
ing getting more books from the
travelling library followed due to
new members joining. Mrs, Tor-
ranee Dundee, librarian, gave a
report on number of books re-
ceived from travelling library
and the pool, stating the librarian
from Goderich was willing to
provide any book requested if on
their shelves. Redecorating of
library was discussed and the
following committee. Mrs, H.
Craig, 11Irs. Bit Coutts and Miss
Ethel Dennis were left in charge

held their annual family night in
Stafia community hall on Wed-
nesday evening. Euchre was play-
ed 1:o11owed by a pot luck Ithnch,
Mrs. Cameron Vivian entertain-
ed recently on her daughter Car-
ol's 10th birthday. Guests were
Misses Mary Barnes, Viola Pull-
man, Bonnie Miller, Joanne and
