St, Thomas' Church met Tues-
day Oct, lid at the rectory, 12
members present, Mrs. W. Old-
field presided owing to sickness

Lord's prayer, Mrs. Harvey gave
a talk on our study book, "Jesus
Christ the Light of the World",
Treasurer's report was read by
Miss. Park, Last month's report
read by secretary. Social Service
report by Mrs. O'Shea. 15 bulle-
tins were given out, It was decid-
ed to send for aprons to sew for
the Mowhawk Institution,
Deanery meeting this year to
be heldat Clinton.
Offering was
taken, Mrs. Oldfield dedicating

end of meeting, Lunch was serv-
ed and .a social time was had.

Mrs. Bowering with 12 members
present. Our president, Mrs. J.
Tamil/nil, opened meeting with
a poem "September", Mrs. 'Mc-
Nichol was in charge of the de-
votional part of the meeting. This
being our Thanksgiving meeting,
this was the theme for the even-
ing, Mrs. Britton was our guest
speaker for the evening and gave
a very inspiring talk. Our group
will be in charge of decorating
the Church for the month of Oct-
ober. The survey cards for The
United Church Woman's Group
were distributed to each matu.
