George Diegel and William Die - gel accompanied Mr. and Mrs. George Young of Stratford, to Kincardine on Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Donald McLaughlin Harvest Home Festival Ser- vice was observed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Sunday, with the smallest children of the Sunday School carrying grain, fruit, flowers and vegetables to the chancel which was beauti- fully decorated for the occasion. The junior choir sang, The teacher, Mr. Dunbar and pupils of our school marched in the school parade at the Monk - ton Fair last Wednesday. They received second prize for their banner. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Brickman and Barry of Brampton with Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Hinz for the weekend and attended the Feltz- Brickman wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Hodgert attended the funeral of Mrs. Ra- ters at Hensall last Wednesday. Mrs. John Hinz Sr. of Sebring- ville with Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Wolfe. Members of the Brodhagen and District Chamber of Commerce held their monthly meeting with 36 present, Due to the harvest not much work has been done. Plans are being made for a turkey raffle in November and the weekly dan- ces are again being held Friday nights.
