Dear Erle and Beatrice -Twen-
ty-five years of wedded bliss,
twenty-five years you wouldn't
miss, hand in hand for twenty-
five years, sharing each other's
joys and fears,
Six lovely daughters dame to
bless this home with laughter
and happiness. Bach one brought
problems, for, Dad and Mother,
and each one .different from the
other.
And each in turn with' might
and main, helped their parents a
home to gain. They worked and
ploughed and mowed the hay,
with right good will they worked
all day.
Twenty-five years to flream and
plan will give 'gray hairs to • any
man, and the lady fair who walk-
ed by his side, .prayed for wisdom
their path to guide. ,.
'The path Nis s rocky and, some-
times steep: ,,they tossed and
turned and coaldn't sleep.
Through.th4:years of patience
and hard labs r, the rocky steeps
are a rosy Arbour.
We come to -night. to congratu-
late you and..lvish you joys and
sorrows few. We hope you like
the gift we brought; ' may you.
live long and .enjoy it a lot.
