the Sunday School Anniversary
in the United Church last Sunday

ABC of Christianity. During the

Township, died Monday at his
residence. A life-long resident of
the township, he Is survived by
his wife, the former Annie Lou-
isa Lawson; two daughters, Mrs,
Pat (Phyllis) Johnston, Grand
Valley; Mrs. Ray (Clete) Finch,
Hullett Township; two sons,
Lloyd, Hullett Township; Jack,
at home; one sister, Mrs. George
Layton, Exeter; 15 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.

sabring neckline and long sleeves

over the hand. Her bouffant

el train and featured an under-
skirt hand appliqued with pink
roses, A small organza hat edged
with roses held her finger-tip
veil of pure silk tulle illusion,
She -carried a cascade ofpink
roses and stephanotis. Mrs, Ro-
bert Cline was matron of honor;
Miss Cullen Nixon, Welland, was
bridesmaid and Miss Fay Blair,
sister of the bride was junior
bridesmaid. Senior attendants
wore sheath dresses of peau de
sole with overskirts of pure silk
organza, The junior bridesmaid
wore a similar dress with full
skirt, while flower girls Tracey
Bell, Minneapolis, Minn., niece
of the groom was dressed in a
bouffant frock of pink pure silk
organza, Dr, Cecil Wright, Lon-
don, was groomsman, and guests
were ushered by Robert Blair, a
brother of the bride, and Dr, El-
wood Dunn, of Sudbury.
A reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents, The
bride's mother received wearing
printed shades of brown silk with
matching hat and corsage of ro-
ses. The groom's mother wore
frost green linen with white ac-
cessories and gardenia corsage.
For travelling to Edmonton
where the couple will reside, the
bride chose a pink imported lin-
en sheath with matching duster
coat and hat and a corsage of
white roses.
The bride is a graduate of Al-
ma College, St, Thomas, and
London Teachers' College, and
the groom is a graduate of the
'University of Western Ontario
School of Medicine,
