LIVE BEI LER ELECTRICALLY
"Is Mummy ever lucky she doesn't
have to hang out the wash today!"
Every day's a lucky day ... when
you own an electric clothes dryer
. because every day's a perfect
drying day
Safe, gentle electric heat dries all
your laundry to fade -proof, soil -proof
perfection , . , fluff dried, ready to
put away ...with no clothesline sag
or soil ...no clothespin corners, For
easy ironing, without sprinkling or
rolling up, just set the dial to the
desired degree of dampness, An elec-
tric clothes dryer is easy on your
washing and easier on you too. It's
just one more way that electricity
lightens your duties, brightens
your day.
You get more out of life—when
you get the most out of electricity.

FIRESIDE FARM F.QRUM.
On January 30 nine adults of
the :Fireside Ferro Forum met at
the home of Mr, and Mrs, 1•Iarvey,
Taylor to discuss the different
methods of sale, the terminal
market, the local auction, or the
private buyer, 411 three methads
have their place • and use depend-
ing op the stock to be sold or
bought.
The local auction has become
much more popular in farming
communities. Many farmers still
prefer to buy a litter of little pigs
or a few head of cattle from a
neighbor other than risk the
chance of disease by going to the
local auction.
Those with. many finished cat-
tle prefer selling at home rather
than to a buyer from a large
packing plant, while many with
just a few cattle prefer shipping
them to a terminal market, Fre-
quently at the local auction ,the
few buyers from large packing
plants agree among themselves
as to which animals they Will buy,
so farmers do notreceive the
highest price. Second question,
Often the prices quoted for pro-
duce are misleading, It may be the
price given for just 'a few ani-
mals while the majority may
sell either higher or lower.
We believe farmers now receive
valuableinformation, from the
daily papers and radio but they
would wish for the breed to be
better described.
