HULLETT
Eleven adults met at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Howatt to
discuss a national Price Policy.
The majority are opposed to a
price policy as we believe it very
difficult to enforce it without the
farmers feeling that they are los-
ing their freedom. The idea of
quotas and other curbs sounds
too much like Russia. We are
afraid we will have too much dif-
ficulty in disposing of our sur-
pluses with our standard of
ing so much higher than in Eur-
ope and Asia. People interested
in agriculture are having their
standards of living lowered
through lower prices while those
in manufacturing are better paid
for their investment and work,
Mrs. Hugh Flynn invited the
group for next week.
Winners at euchre were, most
games, Mrs. Don Buchanan, Hex-
'
ar' ''Vey Taylor, Lone hands, Mrs. H.
