A lovely autumn wedding was
solemnized in the United Church,
Hensali, Saturday, Oct. 29th at 2
o'clock, when Marian Agnes Pep-
per became the bride of Russell
Harris Hooey. Rev. R. C. Winlaw
officiating. The bride is the
daughter of Mr, and Mrs, John
Popper, RR 2, Kippen, and the
groom is the son of Mrs. Arthur
Kendall, Bayfield, and the late
Harris Hooey. Miss Greta Lara-
mie, church organist played tra-
ditional wedding music.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride wore a floor -
length gown of white lace and
net over satin. Her sboulder-
length veil was caught to a tiara
of sequins and her bridal bouquet
was pink roses, Matron of honor,
Mrs. Alex Miller, RR 1, Stafta,
sister of the bride, chose a gown
of turquoise blue silk and carried
white mums with a pink back-
ground. Flower girl, Linda Miller
of Staffa, niece of the bride was
(rocked in pink nylon and carried
white mumswith blue back-
ground. Jimmy Hoag, Bayfield,
was ringbearer•, Jim Kendall, of
Bayfield attended the groom, and
S• Bloss Pepper and Jim Bailie ush-
eredkguests.
For receiving the 40 guests at
the wedding dinner held in the
church parlors, the bride's moth-
er wore navy blue sheer crepe
with accessories in white, the
groom's mother chose a blue suit,
both wore pink and yellow rose
and points north for their honey -
corsages respectively.
For travelling to Tobermory
moon the bride wore a blue suit
with matching accessories and
wore a red rose corsage. They
will reside in Bayfield.
The Evening Auxiliary of the
Church catered for the dinner.
