Mrs, J. L. Bell with a few well

guest speaker, Mrs. (Rev.) Hoy
Wilson of Shakespeare. Mrs, 13Fil'
sou chose for her splendid ad-
dress "Tile Lord is my Shepherd"
and gave the audience much food
for thought and in closing loft
them with the challenge "do you
know the Shepherds Psalm and
de you know the Shepherd?"
Mrs. James F. Scott extended the
appreciation of those present to
the speaker and others taking
part in the pt'ograni. The offering
was received by Mrs. Harold Agar
and Miss Jean Scott. Following
the singing of another hymn Rev,
D. L. Elder closed the meeting
with prayer.
TUCKERSMITH
The Turner's Church W.A. met
in the basement of the church at
8,30 p,m. Wed. Oct. 19 with 12
members present. The roll call
was answered by "Something
that I. am thankful for", The
scripture was read by Mrs. W.
P. Roberts. The devotions by Mrs.
Lawson, the prayer by Mrs. )Orlin
Whitmore. The topic was taken
by Mrs, K. Rogerson. An invita-
tion was accepted to attend a
thankoffering service at Seaforth
Northside United Church, Nov, 2
at 2,30 pan. Plans -were made for
the turkey supper on the evening
of Oct. 20. Lunch was served
by Mrs. Stanley Johns and Mrs,
Iloward johns,
