The death of Walter Arnold
Scott, 55, Seaforth, occurred eud-
denly on Friday in the Woodstock
General tIoapital, He was born
and educated in Seaforth, the son
Of the late Mr, and Mrs, Thomas
Scott, He was a painter and decor-
ator, Surviving are three broth-
ers; Thompson Detroit; Leslie,
Chicago; and John F,, Seaforth.
The funeral service was held on
Monday at 3 paw, Rev. J. 0, Brit-
ton of Northside United Church,
officiated, Burial was in tMaitland-
banlc Cemetery,
Tho pallbearers were William
O'Shea, Frank Sills Jr., Frank
Case, Scott Clufi, Lorne Wet[lan-
ter, John Casino, Flower bearers
were Donald Scott and Donald
Fry.
TOM' CIIOIJ CHONG
Toto Chau Chong, 67, of Sea -
forth, died at Scott Memorial IIos-
pital Friday. He had operated a
restaurant since he moved here in.
1934. Surviving are his wife, Lore
•Sheet one son, Long Fay, both in
China, and one son, Kong Ling,
Central America, Larry Lee, Strat-
ford, is a nephew. The funeral
service was held Monday at 1 p.m.
at the Box Funeral Home, Sea-
forth, Rev, S, C. Britton of North-
side United Church officiated. In-
terment was iu Woodland Ceme-
tery, Hamilton.
The pallbearers were Jack Mc-
Lean, John Bach, Alvin Hoff, A,
W: Siliery, William Box, Stan
Nichols. Flower bearers were Lar-
ry Gene, Tom Lee, Hank Yip, and
Bennie Gene.

and Doris (Mrs. Geo. Gantelon)
all of Stanley Twp.
In 1952 Gordon Hill and Ruby
bought the farm and Mr, and
Mrs. Fred Reid moved to Clinton.
