CONSTANCE
Sunday School Anniversary
The Constance Sunday School
held their annual S.S. Anniver-
sary on ,Sunday, July 3. Special
music was rendered by the Junior
Choir and Miss Joan Preszcator
sang a solo, "Yes we Wi•11". Mr,
Plumsteel, Prinei5a1 of S.D.H.S.
was the special speaker, and took
his topic on a line of poetry
written by Robert Browning. "A.
Man's reach should exceed his
grasp", and carried the lthieme
toward young people in regards
to Education. When are young
people striving to do their best?
It takes pride, determination to
go ahead, .and in speaking to the
parents, they must be sold on
an education.
Human conduct—reaching be-
yond your grasp. It is easier to
go down and lowering our self
respect than it does to go higher.
Mr. Plumsteel told us the effect
en life was the connection with
your church and asked the young
people to still place the Church
first after they have started out
on their own. The High Road of
Life, go to Church, and each one
aim to reach out farther than he
can grasp.
