HERE ARE THE FACTS
The larger county towns will be eligible for -a
government liquor -store' and brewers retail store
- without a further vote.
The Canadian legion in Seaforth could apply for
• a private club licence -• = also without a vote.
NO PUBLIC LICENSES
Beverage rooms, cocktail bars or any other
public licenses could not be issued in Seaforth
unless they are approved by three fifth of the
electors in a second vote under the Liquor
Licence Act.

Commerce had a ,special treat at
.their monthly dinner meeting
when barbecued pork chops were
on the •menu.
Mervin Dietz was again , chief
cook as he supervised 'the . cook-
ing of inch thick pork ,chops bar-
becued over an .outside pit. Spe-
Bial barbecue sauce was used
for seasoning. The meal also had
barbecued potatoes, cabbage sal-
ad, cooked .turnip, apple pie and
cheese, which was prepared and
baked by Mrs, Mervin Dietz, Pres-
ident F. Dickison was ,in charge
of the ineeting that followed and
.much tinge' was spent •cliscueeing
plans 'for the bingo and turkey
raffle and dance to be held at
the hall on Nov. lith. The build-
ing committee appealed to mem-
bers for volunteer .help as there
is some outside work to be done
before reinter sets in.
