business for a town to provide
weigh scales, but now conditions
ere ,different, Council will have
to rescind a bylaw in order to go
out of the weigh scale business.

On For Days Yet

The death 000urred at Scott
Memorial hospital, Seaforth, of
Robert B. Rice of ,Staffa, about
3 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon,
Sept, 22, following a short illness.
Born 71 years ago at Hellen vill-
age, he lived in 12aryborough
Township, Wellington County, he
farmed in Manitoba and came to
Staffa in 1954. The funeral was
held on Wednesday afternoon at
the G. A. Whitney Funeral Home.
Seaforth, Rev. A. H, Daynard of

Interment was in Hollers cemet-
ery.
