Bride -Elect Honored A very pleasant evening was spent on Friday at the home of Mrs. Robt, Sangster when a num- ber of friends gathered in honor of Miss Gladys Moir, bride -elect of this week. Following contests the bride -elect was sent on a "treasure lutnt" for miscellan- eous ' gifts. Refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by Mrs. Glenn Nixon, (Mas , Doug. 0ooper and M•rs. Gerald Flynn. Mrs. Edna Corbett visited this week with her eon -in-law and -daughter, Mr, -and Mrs, Harold Parker at •Chiselhunst. WALTON The regular monthly .meeting of 'the 17th and Boundary group of Duff's United Church was held at the home of Mrs. Thos. Wil- liamson with 12 members and 2 visitors present. Mrs. Harvey Craig was in charge sof the .meet- ing. Mrs. Craig commented on the Soripture reading taken by Eileen Williamson. Mona Clark took the +topic. After business period the :meeting closed.
