The joint meeting of the Sea -
forth, Mitchell and Clinton teen
town societies was held in the
Seaforth arena in the form of a
semi -formal dance. There were
about 300 teenagers in attend-
ance. We would Like to thank Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey Beuermann for
ohaperoning'the dance. We would
also like to thank Mrs. McPhail
and Mrs. Hutchinson for keeping
up with the steady demand of
teenagers wanting pop and chips
in the booth. Music was supplied
by Stuart•Baird and his Colleg-
4ates. Spot dances were won by
Beverley Phillips, •Seaforth and
Ken Bedard, Seaforth; Lyn Gra-
ham, Niagara 'Falls and Ken Ry-

mer principal, who recommended
him as principal of the new Dav-
id Maxwell School in 1929. Ile
wished the new principal to
have the same hearty co-opera-
tion as he has enjoyed.
Mr, Keyes is the second son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson
Keyes of Egmondville, formerly
of Stanley township. He spent
his boyhood years on the Baby-
lon line, attended S.S. No. 13,
Stanley, He graduated from Sea -
forth Collegiate and the Univer-
sity ,of Western Ontario. After
receiving his .teacher's certificate
from Loudon Teachers' College,
he began his teaching ,career at
a mural school near Dungannon.
Then he taught several years in
Waterloo county and Timmins.
He went to Windsor in 1926 and
