Dundas gave an Interesting topic based on Psalm 28, which is called "The Nightin- gale of Psalms." Mrs. Herb Tra- vis read the minutes of the pre- vious meeting and called the roll which was answered with the name of a missionary. Mrs. Mit- chell and Mrs. R. Bennett gave the financial reports. - Members were reminded of the meeting at Winthrop on June 3rd and Sea - forth June 23rd. The coppers will be brought in at the June meet- ing. The regular monthly meeting of the 17th and Boundary Group of Duff's United Church was held at the home of Mrs. Maud Leem- ing with 11 ,members and 1 vis- itor :present. Mrs, H. Smalldon presided. Scripture reading was taken by Mrs. Roy Williamson, and Mrs. H. Smalldon read 'a. poem. An invitation was receiv- ed from the ladies of Winthrop United Church to attend their bazaar on June 3rd. A success- ful bazaar was held at the close of the meeting. Lunch was serv- ed by the hostess, Mrs. Small - don, Mrs, J. Van Vliei, Mrs. E. Uhler, Mrs. G. Williamson. Mrs. Maud Leeming is a pat - lent in Scott Memorial Hospital. CARR COLLIDE Two :motor car accidents oc- curred last week on Wednesday about noon, in each case 'a high school student ,being (involved. No one was injured. Damage to one oar was •$175 and to two others $85 each.
