Panteolvtested Bull Sale at Panhandle, Texas, one year ago.
3,24 lbs, was his average daily gain on ollIoial test for 140
days and this was the highest, of the 119 bulls on test in 1958.
In addition to this he was one of a group of four paternal
brothers that were the highest gaining group of sons of one
bull. He also graded Fancy the highest possible for conform-
ation. His maternal brother was the sire of the, second high-
est gaining group.
History Repeats in 1959
The sire of our B. Domino P. T. 805 M. again had the
highest gaining group of sons on the same test and the high-
est gaining individual gained 9.81 lbs. per day ,for 140 days,
His dawn is a maternal sister to B. Domino- P. T. 905 M, A half
interest in this % brother sold for $4,000,00 and`gi'aded Fancy,
The second highest .prided bull sold for 93,509.00; this bull
was sired by the older maternalbrother to B. Domino P, T.
The third highest priced bull sold for 91,200.00 and the entire
sale averaged lust under 9600.00.

by a group of girls featuring a

WMS and WA. was held with 10
members preient. The call to
worship was given by the pres.,
Tennis Dennis. Miss Barbara
Boyd was pianist, Scripture was
read by Airs, Leonard Leeming.
Mrs. Charles Boyd led in prayer,
Tennis Dennis paid tribute to
mother's by reading a suitable
poem. The Christ. Stewardship
sec., -Mrs. Ralph McNichol, gave
a reading, Highlights, ,of the
Presbyterial were given by Mrs.
Wm. Roe. A skit "The DN and
Christian Missions" was presen-
ted by Mrs. J. Burch, Mrs. N. SD -
more, Mrs, "Wm. )1oe and Ethel
and Tennie Denms. Mrs. Charles
Boyd gave an interesting talk on
seeing oranges and grapefruit
Prepared for canning while in
Florida. An invitation to meet-
ing and bazaar in Winthrop June
3 was accepted. An invitation
was received to join with North-
side, Seaforth, in their June 23
meeting. The used clothing for
bale was brought in and will be
forwarded. The supply allocation
for bale had' also been sent.
Three gifts in, memory of'tilra.
Earl Mills were presented to the
'Society from friends of the fam-
ily. The June meeting will be at
the home of Mrs. Wm. Roe.
The WA meeting was presided
over by Mrs. Wnl. Dennis, A re-
quest for more money for the
manse fund for 1959 was accept-
ed. 935 was moved to be paid to
the M,&M, fund. The coppers are
to be brought in at the June
meeting. Report of pot luck sup-
per and new rubber tips for
chairs was given by Mrs. Still):

McQueen at the piano. Mrs. Har-

The president, Airs. Wilmer
Broadfoot took the chair. Reports
were given. It was moved by
Airs. Cairns and firs. Douglas
that we send 910 to the cancel'
fund. Mrs, Davison explained the
plans to amalgamate the 'WA and
WMS. After discussion it was de-
cided to leave open balloting at
a later date, Mrs. Broadfoot
thanked .firs. Davison for the in-
formation, It was ih'oved by Mrs.
R. Scott and Mrs. Berry that we
buy coasters for the two_ pianos.
Tuesday, June 3rd will be our
visitors' day when Varna, Gosh-
en and Bayfield will be guests
for the June meeting. Leaders of
each group will be the commit-
tee for lunch. 11rs. Broadfoot and
Mrs.Geo, Armstrong will receive
the guests. A thank -you note was
read by Mrs. Berry from .i. Aik-
enhead. Mrs. Ross Scott invited
the members and home helpers
to her home at Bayfield for their
annual picnic in July. There will
not be a meeting in August.
