pen rr. 2, in his 51st year; drop-
ped dead while mowing the lawn
Tuesday night. He came to Can-
ada from Holland eight years
ago and worked at Miekle's poul-
try farm on No. 4 Highway four
years. He Is survived by his wi-
dow and six children, Jerry, Al-
bert. Bill, Annie, Ellie and Dick.

Jr. Farmers' Farm Entrance Project
The following are the regulations drawn up by the com-
mittee in charge:
1) Open to anyone in the rural area surrounding Seaforth
and Walton
2) Deadline for entries is Tuesday, May 26, 1959
8) No improvements are to be made until after June Gth,
in which time the judges will examine the entrance
4) Basis of awards will be originality, improvement, and
safety
5) Area to be judged will be 50 ft. frontage, being 25 ft,
each way from centre of entrance, with a 25 ft. depth
6) Prizes will be as follows: lst $26 or prize to that value.
2nd --$20 Ord -$15 4th -+$10 6th -$5
7) Contestants may enter more than one entrance If they
so desire
8) Everyone In the competition must complete an entry form
9) Improvements must be finished by Sept, 1, 1959, when
judges will reexamine and place the five top entries
10) Judges' decision will he final
