in May. Final plans were made
to hold our crokinole party on
Friday evening. It was decided
that bhe two ladies in charge of
the program each month take
full charge of the meeting for the

us a lovely display of the foam
rubber which she had made, The
meeting was closed ,with the Miz-

The annual meeting of the Var-
na Red Cross was head an Mon-
day -evening of this week. Plans
were completed for the annual
canvass sometime this month
when the roads get better. The
Varna branch of the Red Cross
have a hospital bed and a wheel
,chair for the use of anyone do

ton was elected president to suc-
ceed Mr. John a leash, who has
been president for the past two

read by Ethel Dennis with the
Comments by Tennie Dennis. A
few moments of silent pratyer was
observed in memory of Mrs. Mills
who was a very valuable 'mem-
ber of the society, The topic was
taken by Ethel Dennis assisted
by. Mrs. Roe. It dealt with the
mte tion of Unemployment and
immigration. There was consider-
able (biscussion on this question.
The Sorting Presbyterial is to be
held in North St. United. Church,
decided to accept the ,invitation
to meet with the Walton ladies
for their bazaar on A 1111 8bh.
The next sneeting is to he the
Easter Thank -..Offering and will
be herd at the ,church. It is hop-
ed to have' a suitable film to
show. Lunch committee: Mrs. Re-
gale, Mrs. Snell and Mrs, Roe.
The 'meeting closed with the
Benediction.
