One of the things that most
people shy away from these
'lays is criticism. We don't like

growth 'eaa only conte from con-,
strudtive criticism You maY
maintain that the parbleular
tieitteisrn that you get isn't don-
etrnetive. Life teaches us that we
must be prepared to take it on
the Chin antl come up smiling.
The reaction of modern youth to
its dislike .of criticism, is a rigid
eon1oinnity. One would not dare
be different tram the ,particular
group with which they are assooi-
ating. It a person is to be a leader
of men they must be trained to
accept criticism of their ideas,
Perhaps one of the reasons
that we do not like oritielsm is
that we are afraid that our• idea
may not be able to stand 'up tin-
der the impact of other ideas. ,'It
we are seeking 'the truth, then we
will welcome other ideas, but, if
we are interested .only yin win-
ning an argument, and bolstering
our age, then oriticisan is not for

Town of Seaforth
Re Dog Proclamation
In view of the disregard by the general
public of the recent proclamation
issued by the Town Council re the
confinement of dogs, and the fact that
they are not to run at large at any
time, the Council feels that charges
must be laid under this By-law.
Any owner or harborer of a dog who
allows it to run at large can be sum
mond into court. The fine in a case of
this kind could be $50,00 and costs.
The Council and myself would ask all
citizens concerned to comply with the
laws and avoid the consequences.
