Alban Lynch, ,C.1'., is oonducting the Lenten Mission' at St. James' Church, Seaterbh, until Mar= 1. rather Lynch of St, (Mary's Monastery, Dunkirk, N.Y., is a member of the congregation „ of the Passionists, who are devoted to the passion .or sudierings of OUT Saviour. Ordained in 1940, rather Lynch was ,employed at promotional work for the month- ly 'magazine "The Sign" and as a professor of p'hilosophly. He re- ceived his Master of Arts .Degree at the Catholic 'University o8 America at Washington, D.O., majoring in English. 'For some years he was (professor of Eng- lish, Pater appointed to -oonduct- ing.'layanen's retreats at West Springfield and Boston. For the past eight years he has been con- ductin'g panieh missions. For the convenience of parish- ioners and -.friends, the mission will be 'divided into two distinct weeks, the &ret week, February 15 to 21. for 'the ladies and the second week, 'February 22 to March 1 for men. Those attend - 'lug the 'mission will be able to attend one of two masses daily and special sermons will be preached each evening at 7.30 pmt. to which the public is Invit- ed. A. apprealate the kindness of Dr. McMaster for coming 'over and giving a vent educational talk on his recent tour of the Orient,. Rev. Mr, Davison was =air- man .for the 'evening.
