The 'meeting of Group 4 W.A.
was held at the home of Mrs.
Turnbull with 10 members and
one visitor present, Mrs. Howard
Wilson conducted bhe meeting in
the absence .of .our President.
Mrs. C. Riley had charge 'of the
Devotional. The roll call was an-
swered 'by reading a Valentine
Verse. We have anode .plans to
hold a, crokinole (party in !March,
;the date to 'be set later, which
will be held at the ,Church. It was
.decided bhat we !hold a bake sale
and bazaar in bhe -Spring. Our
.President, 'Mrs. Harold Wilson
sent In Bier resignation, due to
illness she does not feel .that she
can carry on Mrs. Britton gave
us a very inspiring -talk on the
work .of the W.A., stating that we
get Christian Fellowship when
working together, also that we
are in demand and should never
say '1No" when asked to do any
lolnd of a Jeb Mss. Westoobt
'thanked Mrs Britton for 'the in-
spiring message which she gave
to us, and ,thanked Mrs. Turn-
bull ;for the use of her home. A
delicious lunch was served' by our
lunch committee, Mrs. Hulley
and Miss. Turnbull.

The regular monthly ,meeting
of Group 1 of the W. A. of the
Northside' United Church •was

opened the meeting with a !poem
"Jesus Olrrist the ,Saviour". The
scripture was read by Mrs, Close
,followed by prayer by Mrs: Brit-

trip 'to Japan. last summer, Mrs.'
Outhill gave a reading "At Tithe
Gate". A very successful parcel
post sale was conducted, realiz-
ing ,the sum of $6,25, Plans. for
the Valentine Supper on Feb, 12
were made. A solo 'by Mrs, E.
Williams was enjoyed by all.
Lunch was served by Mrs. Gra-
ham Herr and Mrs,. Wm, Ball.
Mrs, Dave Lemon, on behalf of
the ladies, thanked 'Mrs, ,Cuthill
for the use of her home and all
those taking ;pant.

The Ontario Poultry Producers
meeting ;held in Toronto, Friday
last, was not as well attended as
was hoped. 'Bad driving condi-
tions kept (many of the •north
western producers at Thome. How-
ever the 'plan was thoroughly
dieoussed and .dates for county
meetings easily in March were
arranged.
Under sectilon 9 of the .Farm
Products !Marketing Act bhe Ont-
ario Poultry Producers can have
a deduction made on eggs at the
egg grading - station and on .poul-
try at the killing Plante. With

ario Organization and a portion
will go to the county organization

Mre. George Westbrook died
suddenly on Thursday at Alexan-
dra Manine'and General Hospit-
al, Goderich, in cher 77th year. The
former Isabel Youngblut, she was
born in HIullett twp„ a daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob
Youngblut. She had lived In God-
ericlr. for the past 68 years. She
was a member of North Street
