The Brucefieldl (United Church Sunday School concert was held ,on Friday evening Dec. ;16th with a splendid attendance of parents and friends. The children provid- ed an entertainment of very high calibre. Those taking part were from the three school sec- tions attending Sunaay School. Much credit is due to the teach- ers who gave so generously of their time. The appearance •of Santa Claus at the end. of the program created considerable ex- citement. Bags of candy and or- anges and gifts were distributed and everyone went home happy. Diplomas were distributed by the superintendent Mr. Norman Walker. Rev. Mr. S. Davison was master of ceremonies throughout the evening. BAYFIELD Mr. and Mrs. Nelson McConkey, Toronto, were at their home over the week -end. Corporal and Mrs. L.
