Fairbairn -Van Alstine
Miss Mary Van Alstine, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs, James Van Al-
stine was united in marriage to Mr,
Rolly Fairbairn, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Fairbairn of Wellwood, Ontario.
The bride wore a blue suit with grey
accessories. Mrs, Percy Webster, ma-
tron of honor wore a grey suit with
blue accessories. A reception was
held at the home of the bride's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fairbairn will re-
side at Hensall.
Mrs. Robert W. Lohr
Mrs. Robert W. Lohr, the former
Hannah Ortwein, daughter of the
late'Mr, and Mrs. J. W. Ortwein,
Hensall, passed away in Boswell,
Penn., Tuesday, following a lengthy
illness. Surviving. 'besides her hus-
band are two daughters, Mrs. D. E:
Thomas and Mrs. Howard Moore, Al-
toona, Penn.; two brothers, Milton,
London, and Alonzo, Lexington,
Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. J. A,
Paterson and Mrs. G. M. Drysdale,
Hensall.
