Mr, and Mrs. L. R. Coles of List- owel wererecent visitors with Mr. and Mrs, G. M. Drysdale, Miss Marguerite McDonald of London spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Emma McDonald, Mrs, E, Johnston of Sarnia visited over the weekend with herbrother and sister-in-law Mr, and Mrs. Clar- ence Volland. Mr. and Mrs, John Alexander spent the weekend with relatives in London. James Smillie Funeral services for James Smil- lie, 78, who died at Ms home here, were conducted Monday, 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. J. Rogers, at the United Church, and interment made in Hen- sall Union Cemetery. He was born on the homestead, one mile north 'of town, and farmed there until retiring 12 years ago. He was an active member of the United Church here, and a member of the session 25 years. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Brodhagen, Carolyn and Delores, formerly of London, are at the home of the former's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mogk. Miss Cassie James, Messrs Bob and Glenn Miller of Galt with Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Miller. Mrs. Chas. F. Pushelberg was ber- eaved by the death of her father, Henry Reihl, A shower was held for -Miss Cas sie James and Bob Miller in Hinz's Hall, on Friday evening prior to their wedding.
