Edna Corbett and Mxs. Cathar me Devlin visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. John Colvin at Lobo. Mr. and Mrs. A, L. Case spent a few days with the Tatter's mother, Mrs. J. Reid in London. A pretty double -ring ceremony was performed at the United Church Manse, Listowel, on Saturday when Rev. E. Martin united in marriage Betty June Moir, daughter of Mr, and Ml's, Geo. Moir, Hensall, and Robert William Sangster of Hensall son of Mrs, Minnie Sangster of Hen- sall, and the late Wm, Sangster. The bride wore a white nylon street - length dress with white nylon cloche, white accessories and cot•- sego of red roses and white Barna- tions. Her sister, Mrs. John C. Peebles of Listowel was her only at- tendant, wearing a daffodil 'yellow street -length dress with lace trim, yellow accessories and corsage of Talisman roses. Mr. John 0. Peebles was groomsa}, Following the reception the couple left on a wedding trip to Ottawa and Montreal. For travelling the bride wore a light blue checked suit with navy piping and navy ae- cessories. On their return they will reside in Hensall. Miss Patsy Mitchell, nurse -in - training at Victoria Hospital, Lon- don, spent a few days recently with her patents Mr. and Mrs, Stanley Mitchell. Miss Joyce Stephenson of London spent the weekend at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wm.' R. Stephenson. Mrs. Don Gooding and daughter of Parkhill visited during the past week with the former's parents, Mr, and Mrs. Edgar Munn. in-law, Mrs. Edna Corbett. The many friends of Mrs. Hugh McMurtrie are pleased to hear she was able to return hone following her recent operation in Victoria Hospital, London.
