The First Lutheran Church of
Tioga was the scene of a wedding
no Friday, July 26th at 3 pan. when
Audrey Kathleen Baggett, daughter
of Rev. and Mrs, C. S. Baggett of
Salina, Kansas, and Sanford John
Oslund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Oslund were united in marriage.
Rev. C. S. Baggett, father of the
bride was the officiating clergyman.
Mrs. Robert Bruise, dressed in a full
length gown of orchid and wearing
a corsage of Shasta Daises played
the traditional wedding music. Miss
Ruth Oslund, sister of the groom,
dressed in full length gown of aqua
taffeta, and wearing a corsage of
pink carnations, sang "Because" and
"The Lord's Prayer".
Given in marriage by her uncle,
Mr. John Gray, of Moose Jaw, Sask.,
the bride wore a white satin gown
trimmed in lace with a 3 -foot train.
Her fingertip veil fell from a pearl
and rhinestone tiara and she carried
a white bible and a bouquet of red
roses. Her rhinestone necklace and
earrings were a gift of the groom.
The two bridesmaids were sisters
of the groom. They were Genevieve
Oslund attired in a pink gown and
Unice Oslund in yellow. Mae Bag-
gett, sister of the bride was maid of
honor and was attired in a full
length orchid gown. Gayle Nylander
of Wildrose, who was dressed in or-
chid threw rose petals in the aisle
before the bride.
Best man was Vernon Oslund,
brother of the groom. Ushers were
Francis Oslund Jr., brother of the
groom and Rev. David Hadley of
Wildrose. All ilhe mem attendants
were attired in navy blue.
The mother of the bride was in a
white gabardine suit with navy ac-
cessories and a corsage of red and
white carnations. The mother of
the gloom was dressed in a black
and white crepe dress with accessor-
ies to match. She also wore a cor-
