The W.M.S. met on Wednesday
afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mor-
ley Cooper. The president, Mrs.
John Sinclair opened the meeting,
the opening hymn being 502. The
ecripture lesson was read by Mrs.
Carl McClinchey, after which she led
in prayer. Mrs. Sinclair gave a read-
ing from the Missionary Monthly on

Korea. The roll call was answered
with a small parcel for a baby for
the Korean Bale, also a Mother's
Day verse. Mrs. Robt. MacGregor
reported she and Mrs. McLellan had
called on several shutins, new be.bies
and one bride. The visiting commit-
tee for May is Mrs. Allan Johnson
and Mrs, Eldon Jarrott. Mrs. Robert
McGregor and Mrs. Winston Work -

The Study "The Church in The Lit-
tle Places" Student Missions was

taking part in the meeting and to
the hostess. The closing hymn was
356. Mrs. Sinclair pronounced the
Benediction. A contest was enjoyed
after which lunch was served by
Circle No, 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Taylor and
Terry of Stratford spent the week-
end with Mrs. R. Dinsdale and Miss
Mabel Whiteman.
Mrs, John Jarrett has returned
home after spending several weeks
with her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr, and Mrs. Edgar Smith in Guelph
Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Kerr of Win-
throp spent Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Elston Dawson,
Mrs Lydia Doig and Janet return-
ed home on the weekend after
spending the winter in Grand Rapids
with the former's son, Mr. John
Doig.
Mrs. W. R. Cooper spent a few
days last week in Listowel at the
home of Dr, and Mrs, Lawson.
Mrs. Margaret Johnson of Toronto
spent the weekend with her brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W.
R. Cooper.
