The Seaforth District Jtuiiol'
1''a1'lners and Junior Institute held
their monthly meeting, Tuesday
evening, April 8th in the High
Sehool,
The boy's meeting opened with
the roll -call, each member answer-
ing with the no• of acres of spring

minutes of the annual meeting were
then read, Mr. Butler, assistant ag-
riculture representative, demonstrat-
ed how to take a soil test and the
soil boxes were distributed to each
member, and are to be returned at
the June meeting. After mucic dis-
cussion the boys decided that a re-
minder for each meeting would be
sent out before the stated meeting
rather than have the year's pro-
gram printed at one time. The guest
speaker for the evening was Mr„
McNaughton from the Jones and
McNaughton Seed Co., Exeter. He
spoke on cleaning small seeds and
he stated that the O.A.G. was put-
ting seeds on some farms 'to in-
crease production, thus alleviate the
small seeds' shortage. Then he show-
ed a film on cleaning seeds which
proved very interesting, Stuart Wil-
son moved 'a vote of thanks to the
speaker.
The Junior Institute opened their
meeting with 0 Canada, 'followed by
