On Monday, Jan. 7, the Fireside
1'arin Forum met at the home of Mr,
and Mrs. Jim Howatt with 27 adults
and 5 children present. Donald Bu-
chanan, the president, had the box
of 'books which had been ordered
through the forum. Two discussion
groups were formed for the topic,
"Should we increase production",
the people seemed about evenly di-
vided with opposite sides taken for
both questions. Prize winners: most
games, Miss Ferne Dexter, Bob Dal-
ton; lone hands, :Mrs. Bert Hoggart
and Art Hoggart; Consolation, Mrs.
Geo. Roggart, Ben Riley: Mrs. Har-
vey Taylor invited the group to her
home for next week.
On New Year's Pay Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Riley entertained Mr. and Mrs,
Elmer Hugill and family of Clinton;
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Riley and family

Car owners are requested not to park cars on roadsides
in the Township during the winter in order to facilitate
snow plowing operations.
The Township will not be responsible for damage to
parked cars as a result of such operations.

Burns' Church annual meeting
will be held in the Church on Tues-
day afternoon, Jan. 15, all with re-
ports are asked to have them ready,

On Monday afternoon Mrs. Wat-
son Reid held a quilting for the
members of her group.

The fourth 'meeting of the Wal-
ton Club was held at the home of
Mrs, Humphries, The meeting was
opened by singing "The more we
get Together". The minutes were
then read and seconded by Dons
Stevens. The next meeting is to be
held on Friday evening at 8 o'clock,
Leona Solmston is to bring the'treat.
The roll pall is "Things I have altos -
en to make". Mrs. Humphries then
showed us the different ways . we
could make our dresser scarf.

Miss Betty Miekle returned to
London to resume her studies at U.
W. 0. after spending the holidays
with her. parents Mr. and Mrs. E. L.

Mrs. Tetreau spent the weekend
with relatives at Zurich,
Miss BBeruice Jinks, nurse -in -train -
trig at Victoria hospital, London,
spent the weekend at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manley
Jinks.
Mrs, Margaret Ketehen is spend-
ing the winter months at Mrs. Hod-
gert's nursing home in Exeter,
Mrs. Letitia Sangster, who was
confined to Clinton General Hospital
for several weeks, was able to go to
the home of her son-in-law and
daughter Mr. and Mrs. Jack Peebles
Immunization
Clinics
The first in a series of immunization clinics for Seaforth
and district will be held in the basement of the Seaforth.
Library ---Friday, January 18th, from. 2.30-3.30 P.M.
Children d months of age to school age may be brought to
these clinics to receive initial immunization or reinforcing
inoculations for Diphtheria, 'Whooping Cough, Tetanus,
and Smallpox.

Killop are requested not to park their cars
on the roads of the Township during the
winter.
Cars that are left on the roads are contrary
to the Highway Traffic Act, and are a det-
riment to operatidn of snowplows.
After January 1, 1952, please note
that Provincial Police will take the
necessary action to see that cars are
not left on roads, and prosecutions
may follow
