At the morning service Dec, 3, in
the Hensall United Church, Rev. W.
J. Rogers introduced as the guest
speaker, Mr. J. E. Williamson, prom-
inent Toronto business man, repre-
senting the Ontario Temperance Fed-
eration. Some very interesting facto
on this subject were given by the
speaker, "We should urge folk to
come to Church", We should invite
children to attend Sunday School, We
are interested in individuals and
their relationship to the community.
Let us be determined to save our
youth, Jesus Christ is the Light of
the World. The, Choir offered the
anthem "Spirit of God", special parts
being taken by Mrs. H. McEwen and
Mr, S. G. Rennie. The evening ser-
vice was withdrawn in favor of the
film "Second Change" in the Presby-

The monthly Evening Auxiliary
meeting will be held in the United
Church School room on Monday night

Avery the Study. For the W.M.S.
bale, members are asked to offer a
collection of used clothing for child-
ren or adults. Each member is re-
quested to bring a gift worth 50 or
75 cents same to be exchanged. Mrs.
R. Drysdale and Mrs. J. Drys,dale are
in charge of games etc.
The Christmas meeting of the Hen-
sall Women's Institute will be held in
the Legion rooms on Wednesday
night, Dec, 13th. Mrs. Cameron and
Mrs, S. G. Rennie are hostesses. In
answer to the roll call members are
asked to present gifts of money for
the London War Memorial Children's
Hospital, also name your favorite
Xmas Carol. Members are requested
to have ready their 6" wool squares
for woollen throw, when completed

to the 'lar Memorial Children's
Hospital, Mrs. C. Kennedy will give

Farm Forum met at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Robt. Jamieson with 18
adults and 2 children present. Mem-
bers took quite opposite views in the
discussion period on "Pensions for
Everyone". Prize winners for pro-
gressive euchre were; Most games,
Miss Fern Dexter and Wes. Hoggart;
lone hands, Mrs. Oliver Anderson and
Wes Hoggart; consolation, Mrs. Geo.
Hoggart and Don Buchanan. Next
Monday, Mr. and Mrs, Harvey Taylor
entertain the group.
