Mrs. H. Durian on Sunday.
Mrs. Martha Lyon is visiting at the
hone of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
E. Guant.
Mr. and Mrs. William Addison
quietly celebrated their Golden Wed-
ding on Tuesday, Nov. 14th. The
couple were at hone to their friends
in the afternoon, who calledto wish
them congratulations and best wish --
es. Their family were with them in
the evening when a nice time was
spent together. We all join in wish-
ing them many more happy days to-
gether as they journey through life.
'The regular meeting of the W.M.S.
was held on Thursday, Nov. 9th. In
the absence of the president, Mrs.
Brenton took charge. It was a good
meeting. A committee was named,
Mrs. R. 'Townsend and Mrs. Nellie
Watson with Mrs. S, Tamblyn to
bring in the slate of officers to the
December meeting, and the instala-
tion of the officers will also be at
the December meeting. Roll call was
answered by bringing an article of
clothing for infants, more is needed
for overseas relief. Mrs. Grierson
took the study book with Mrs. Web-
ster, Mrs. Brenton, Mrs. Armstrong
and Mrs. B. Allen assisting. Mrs.
Grierson had on display several Jap-
anese articles, pictures and snapshots,
all were very interesting. Mrs. Web-
ster, leader of Group 1, took up the
program as in the Missionary Month-
ly with Mrs, M. Manning, Mrs. Lyon,
Mrs. Allen assisting. Meeting closed
with prayer by Mrs. Brenton.

Mrs. Lydia Doig and Miss Janet
returned home from a motor trip
accompanied by Mr. John Doig of
Grand Rapids, Mich., to Eastern On-
tario and Quebec, the party spent
several days sightseeing in Montreal,
Quebec and Ottawa.
