STANLEY
The regular meeting of the
Parr Lino Farm Forum was held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
John Solden with 27 members in
attendance. A. very interesting
discussion was held on the topic,
"Legal problems affecting the
Farmer", Most of the discussion
centered on the drawing up of
a "Will". Every farmer should
draw up a will, with the help of
a lawyer, by doing so, it will
save considerable expense, also
avoid many legal problems. All
business transactions pertaining
to the farm should be drawn up
in writing. All farm purchases
should have receipts for same.
Deeds of farm property should
be thoroughly investigated be-
fore any sale or transactions
are made. It is very important
that all •documents such as Deeds
etc, should be kept in safe keep-
ing to protect from fire or loss,
It was also pointed out that
Life Insurance should be left to
wife, son, or daughter and not
left to• the estate, as this would
leave it liable for other claims.
A recreation period followed,
prize winners. Ladies, Mrs. John
Baker; gents, James McAllister;
Next meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs, Ida Dick.
