Ma cl? arlane-_S angster Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church, London, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday, when Margaret Elaine Sangster, daughter of Mrs. Sangster, Hensall, and the late William Sangster, beeame the bride of John Scotland MacFarlane, Forest, son of Mrs. Margaret Mac- Farlane, Riverside, and the late Ilugh MacFarlane. !White gladioli and mums formed the setting for the ceremony, when the Rev. John Fleck officiated. Mrs, H. McGilton played the wedding music and Miss Eunice MacDonald was soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her brother Douglas Sangster, chose a floor -length gown of rose -point lace and nylon tulle over satin. The fitted bodice was of softly pleated nylon tulle. Over the bodice was worn a short lace ,bolero fashioned with Peter Pan collar, lily -point sleeves and tiny lace buttons from collar to waist, The long full skirt was of layers of nylon tulle aver satin with a deep lace polonnaise scalloped around the edges, Her fing- er-tip illusion veil was held by a half -hat of nylon pleated tulle, edg- ed with pearls and she carried a cas- cade bouquet of gardenias centred with heather sent from Scotland by the bride's aunt. Mrs, Douglas Sang- ster, the bride's attendant, chose a floor -length strapless gown of blue erystalite with matching stole and hat. She carried a cascade of Queen Elizabeth roses. Mr. Jack Watson at- tended the groom, and Mr. Robert Sangster, Hensall, brother of the bride was usher. Murray Gibson Dies in Hospital Murray Gibson, 80, of Brucefield passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Born in Stanley twp., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. .John Gibson. He retired to Bruce - field ten -years ago. He was a mem- ber of Brucefield United Church, Brucefield LO,O.F. and Huron Lodge A.F .and A.M., Hensall. Surviving are• two sisters, Miss Mary Gibson, Brucefield, and Mrs. John McMur- trie, Hensall, Funeral services were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Me- Murtrie, Hensall, on Saturday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. E, A. Stan- way, London. Burial in Baird's Cem- etery. Mrs. E. R. Shaddick spent a few days in Toronto this week. Mrs. Tetreau of Zurich visited re- cently with Mrs. Edna MacArthur and family.
