A pont nuptial reception honoring
Jar. and Mrs. Joseph Malone, recent
newly-weds, was held in the Seaforth
Community Centre prior to their de-
parture tor their new home in Win-
nipeg, Man. A large group of
friends from Dublin and Seaforth
assembled to extend -congratulations
to the honored guests. An address ex-
pressing good wishes was read by
Ronald Butters and a purse of money
was presented by Frank Higaell,
The Hank Morris Orchestra of Win-
throp played for dancing and a lunch
was served.
A miscellaneous shower sponsored
by Miss Katharine Walsh and Miss
Dorothy Ann Costello, honoring bliss
Catharine Krauskopf,. whose mar-
riage to Mr. William Feeney will be
an event of August 7, was held at
the home of .Mrs. Nicholas Kraaskopf.
Approximately 50 ladies were present
to congratulate the bride -elect. An
address was read by Miss (Catharine
Walsh and an assortment of practical
gifts was presented. The honored
guest graciously expressed her
thanks. Several games of bingo were
played and a delicious lunch was
served by the sponsors and their
assistants.
