WINTHROP
The Young Peoples' Union held
their regular meeting in the school
room of the church on Sunday even-
ing Dec. 13th with Mae Bolton pre-
siding. Scripture, Matthew 6: 1-4
was read by Bob Bettles after which
Mr. Livingstone led in prayer. Roll
call was answered by 17 members.
During the business period plans
were made for their annual meeting
on Jan. 8, 1954. Mac Bolton gave
the topic on Stewardship. The meet-
ing was closed with a Christmas
hymn and the Benediction.
HENSALL
Mr. Gordon Munn, who underwent
an operation for removal of his ton-
sils in Clinton Hospital last week,
was able to return to his home on
Sunday.
Mrs. Edna Corbett of Exeter vis-
ited recently with her daughter,
Mrs. Edna Jones.
Miss Ann Hildebrandt of London
visited this week with her mother
Mrs. Mary Hildebrand and Marney,
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor Sr.
are spending several days with their
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Munn.
