Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lawson, Mrs.
George Leitch and Mrs. Wilbur Jew-
itt spent Wednesday in London.
Mr, Murray Dale left Tuesday for
Weston.
Mr. George Leitch returned to his
home on Wednesday from St. Jo-
seph's Hospital, London, where he
had been receiving treatment. His
many friends with him continued
progress on the road to health.
Mrs. Verne Dale and Mrs. Harvey
Taylor spent the weekend in London
the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Dodds.
Mr. and Mrs. Win. Webster of St.
Helens were guests on Thursday
with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lawson,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Montgom-
ery spent Friday in Guelph, the
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mont-
gomery.
Mrs. Lorne Lawson and Mr. and
Mrs. Ephraim Clarke spent Thursday
in London.
Sincere sympathy is extended to
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pethick in the
death of their little daugher.
The Friendly Few Farm Forum
met at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Earl Lawson on Monday evening
with a good attendance. After the
broadcast, groups were formed and
the topic, "Citizens of Tomorrow"
brought out a good discussion, Pro-
gressive euchre was played. Most
games, Mrs. Vern Dale and Dennis
Jewitt, consolation, Miss June 4o-
gers and Douglas Riley, Lunch was
served. Next meeting will be held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur
Jewitt.
