Large congregations attended an-
niversary services in St. Andrew's
United Church here on Sunday at 11
a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The guest speak-
er at both services was Rev. J, F.

choir under the direction of Miss

quartette of Seaforth, namely Mrs.

Mrs. Harvey Damon, Former Kippen
Resident Passes In Walkerton
Mrs, Harvey Damns passed away
at her home in Walkerton on Thurs-
day evening in her 59th year. 1M1rs.
Damm had been in failing health for
some months but lately had been
much better, thus her passing came
as a shock to her family, Mr. and
Mrs. Damm operated the general
store now occupied by Mr, and Mrs.
N. Diekert, in Kippen a number of
years. Mrs. Damm is survived by her
sorrowing husband, 1 daughter Ann,
Mrs. J. Woods of Winnipeg, Man.,
two sons Ralph of Kitchener and
Kenneth of London, and four grand-
children. Funeral services were con-
ducted. from the Funeral Home in
Walkerton on Sunday afternoon,
Sympathy of this community is ex-
tended to the family.
Word was received here last week
of the sudden passing of Mr. Harold
Kyle in Winnipeg. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle
had just returned to their home in
Winnipeg after visiting their cous-
ins Emmerson and William Kyle and
other friends in this community.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Darling of
Clandeboye and Mr. and Mrs. Mc-
Kinley of Wyoming visited on Thurs.
with Mr, and Mrs. John L. Hender-
son.
Mr. John Doig of Grand Rapids,
Mich. spent the weekend with his
mother Mrs. Lydia Doig and sister,
Miss Janet.
Mr. Robt. Cooper is visiting his
daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Grant Love of Caro, Mich,
Mrs. Bessie Sanders of Victoria,
B.C., Mrs. Bella Harron, Detroit,
visited recently with Mr. and Mrs.
W. L. Mellis.
Mr. Lewis Clark Jr. has purchased
the farm of Mr. Floyd Weeks on the
2nd Concession of Tuckersmith. Mr,
and Mrs. Weeks intend returning to
the Western Provinces.
Mr. - and Mrs. Clarence Bell and
Eddie of Windsor were weekend
visitors with Mr. and llirs. Norman
Long.

Sunday with Mr. Dowson's sister
and brother -in -haw, Mr. and Mrs.
Wright at Kenilworth, later called
on the Damm family at Walkerton.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Green of
Mitchell visited on Sunday with the
former's father, Mr. Jonah Green.
Mr. and Mks. Orville Workman,

al of the late Mrs. H. Damm in
